1. In case the inflammation and discomfort is very acute and severe, then you need to apply a cream or suppository containing an astringent, an anesthetic and an anti-inflammatory agent to reduce and alleviate the pain. Zinc oxide and witch hazel are good astringents that will cut off the blood flow to the hemorrhoids thereby shrinking the ailment. Other astringents include cranesbill and aloe vera. The use of cinchocaine as the anesthetic of choice is better compared to lignocaine as the former has a prolonged action. Cinchocaine will relieve pain and relaxes sphincter contraction. The steroid will heal the skin around the anus while eliminating itchiness. You can also add in an antibiotic which will prevent infections.

2. Use of a warm sitz bath has been found to be very effective in removing hemorrhoids. You can soak the buttocks in a basin of warm water bath that may contain Epsom salt, herbal salt or even baking soda. However the use of clear warm water would suffice as this is void of irritation or allergy. Soak in the bath for about 20 minutes three times a day and there will be a reduction in the pain and inflammation.

3. Discomfort and pain with the eventual removal of hemorrhoids have also been achieved by using the Vitamin C 1000 mg supplement. This preparation also has the ability to strengthen the blood vessels as well as shrinking the hemorrhoids. The end result is hemorrhoids removal.

Home remedies when used to remove hemorrhoids is preferable to medical intervention. Many hemorrhoids sufferers have found complete healing when they use the remedies. These remedies are not only safe but also cheap and very effective.
